Artist's Comments

Task was to print something for a calendar. The money made with those calendars should help my school buying a photovoltaic system.
The main theme in those Calendars was the sun (poeple who bath in the sun, the phoenix, Ikarus, the sun,...) and they sold out really fast. I decided to print an Ikarus (about 18 of them but I forgott 3 in the first stage (yellow)).
The black stripe on the bottom is not supposed to be there but I didn't want to cut it off.

I actually think it looks better with the black stripe; it helps to balance the piece out, but I know how it goes with printing and errors like that. <3

I love it! The concept and colors are amazing. I'm not surprised ya'lls calendars sold out fast.

the Ikarus Printings are (in my opinion) my best works I've done till now.
That's the sad thing about seeing Art on the internet, It just isn't the same like seeing it in reality.
